Island Palms Motor Inn

An older property that has been upgraded. We stayed in Room 21 which was fantastic (our second time staying in that room) - on the corner at the back overlooking the grass. The Moscow Circus was setting up while we were there, and I think it wise to check if they are going to be operating during your planned stay as the noise would be terrible in that room. It was great when we were there as the circus had not yet opened. Other times when the land is vacant (most of the year) it is excellent. Another win is they have just upgraded the TV in the room. It is now a good size and with the ability to cast you own Netflix, Stan etc. makes the stay great.

Large comfortable room with good quality furniture. Great private outside sitting area. Amazing bathroom with large circular bath. All other amenities were good. Quiet spot far enough from road not to be bothered by traffic noise.

Host very helpful. Plenty of on site parking. Little bit out from centre/main beach but there is a shopping complex opposite you can walk to that has everything you need, more than the centre of town - Coles, Woolworths, Bakers Delight, etc., Had the best system for streaming Netflix, Prime, etc., so easy to access if you are a member of the relevant streaming service - unlike other stays I have been in.

The lady that greeted me in reception was warm, welcoming, professional, empathetic and compassionate. The room was as advertised, very clean and presentable; really there is nothing that I could fault.

The bathroom is in the middle of the room and separates the two beds. I liked this as it gave privacy and the feel of having 2 bedrooms. The view from the patio is spectacular. With a book, nice cup of tea (or something long and cold) I could have spent a very pleasant hour or so outside. The room was very clean and suited our needs perfectly. There was parking right outside the door
